Forgotten Photo Friday – Tarnished Plant Bug (Lygus lineolaris)

Just right for an unseasonably spring-like mid-February day 🙂

 

A tarnished plant bug (Lygus lineolaris) meanders on an early May dandelion blossom.  This is an extremely common critter in North America, and is a pest of many important crops and forage plants, including soya and alfalfa
